When purchasing a second-hand sander, how should I check the three major pieces?


First, conveying platform

Check first to see if the conveyor belt is damaged (damage will affect the amount of sand cutting, and the thickness of the plates to be sanded varies!)

Whether there is no warped edge at the edge of the conveyor belt (the warped edge of the conveyor belt proves that the tension of the conveyor belt is gone and the service life is up. The conveyor belt needs to be replaced. The warped edge will lead to different thickness and unevenness of the sanding plate)

Pry open a little conveyor belt to check the conveyor bed

. Some wide band sander, the conveyor bed (conveyor platform) will use marble table. If you want to buy, for the marble countertop must be checked clearly, whether the marble is broken, whether the iron hoop around the marble is open glue! (If the glue is broken, don't think about this machine! The broken glue will first affect the safety. Second, unless the whole conveying bed is replaced, the quality of the board you sand out is absolutely not up to standard. The marble table is broken and cracks are very common! Some new machines will cause damage to the marble table during transportation!)
There is also the metal table top and the metal table top. Whether it is flat or not is touched by hand (if it is not flat, you know the manufacturer who is also a mechanical manufacturer, just mill the conveying machine. If you don't know it, consider it carefully, it is not as serious as marble table top!)

Second, sand cutting assembly (steel roller, or rubber roller, and swelling top roller)

metal roller generally will not have bump problem, bump metal reflective can also be seen by naked eyes, metal roller with hand stroking roller body, whether there is wear or not!

Hard rubber roller, touch it with your hands to see if it is worn, and check whether the roller body is cracked (the sanding machine is not used for a long time, and the hard rubber roller is easy to crack! It will seriously affect the quality of the board) whether there are potholes or not! (Be careful to avoid contact with oil, especially diesel! Rubber roller touching diesel will seriously affect its service life)

soft rubber roller, generally used for polishing, is also the three types, the most easily damaged one, extremely soft, carefully observe whether there are scratches, roller body is damaged! Just like hard rubber rollers, you must not touch diesel oil (only these two can be checked manually, and a slight indentation on soft rubber rollers is not acceptable!)

Third, the motor
is powered on. The motor does not lack phase. When it rotates, there is no abnormal noise (proving that there is no lack of phase) and no trembling (proving that the rotor and bearing are not broken!) Can circle! What bicycle!!!
After checking the three major parts, there are some minor problems. These can be adjusted or replaced with parts.

For example, check whether the lifting is normal and there is no abnormal noise! Are the four platform pillars at the same height! Whether the conveyor belt is running with abnormal noise and whether the reducer is normal! Whether there is air leakage in the rising top cylinder! Wait.
